I love to work with seasonal flowers. There are so many beautiful shrubs and flowers that exist in this country….a wealth of material, foliage, berries and botanical treasures that can make your wedding flowers look truly individual, beautiful and unique to you.
A wedding is a celebration of love, a joyous happy day, and perhaps one of the only times in our lives when we will carry flowers in so public a way. Those flowers can quietly set the tone for the whole day, lift our spirits, and connect us once again with ancient rites and rituals and the fragile beauty of this earth.
The possibilities are endless…a spring wedding using delicate pale blossom as a backdrop, with hellebore and tulips, a summers wedding with scented garden roses playing the starring role, or wild flowers and cow parsley plucked from the hedgerows.
Maybe you will marry in the autumn and choose from the rich abundance of flowers, foliage, grasses and seed heads available then or perhaps the romance of a winter wedding appeals, with a palette of dark, decadent and dramatic flowers. Amaryllis perhaps, with scented pine and fir, stunning by candlelight, or the pure white of fragile, ethereal snowdrops and early scented narcissi.
Whenever you marry, and wherever you marry there will be flowers and styles to complement and create that one magical, special day
